LUCID DREAMING
Dreams, our journey into a twilight world between reality and fantasy!!A world filed with images that defy the very rules that govern mans existence on this lonely little planet slowly moving through the vastness of the Cosmos.
Although dreams dominate our thoughts on sleep, we only actually spend one and a half to two hours dreaming during an average night’s sleep. We are dreaming about once every 90 minutes of sleep.
So, what happens when we sleep?
Lucid dreams can be creative and very surprising, this is dreaming whilst being aware that you are dreaming, you may dream that you are able to fly or change your form into something completely different!!
You may want to lucid dream for fun, or for the unique experience of experiencing some type of superpower.
Dream of being in the arms of some one you love but doesn't know you exist.
Dreams may be recollected, how many dreams can you remember?
If you remember part of your dream spiritually or in psychology try lucid dreaming, it could help you in your research, if you are a writer, writing fiction or creating a computer game lucid dreaming can help you visualise it.
Some people write music in their dreams, rehearse speeches, or relive
experiences.
It is rare to have lucid dreams naturally.
Recalling Your Dreams
It is important to improve dream recalls because it is possible to have a lucid dream without remembering it!!!
Becoming familiar with your dreams will improve your chances of them becoming lucid ones.
If you wake up whilst dreaming you have approximately 80% chance of remembering what you dreamt.
To try to recall try setting your alarm clock 4.5,6 or 7 hours after you think you will fall asleep. This will wake you up for a dream.
Keep a dream diary or journal, by your bedside, jotting down everything you can remember on waking from your dream.
Recollect images, colours, people, and phases from your dreams.
Allow your mind to wander throughout the day; it could be a link to your dream!!
Once you have had quite a few you will be able to analyse and do a reality check.
Chasing Dreams
This is a method to re enter your dream after you have woken up, it can
work for lucid and non-lucid dreams.
Flying
Many people dream that they are flying through the air like Superman!!!!
or walking through a mirror or a wall.
Health
We may dream of being huge or very ill.
Naked
Walking naked along a busy street or even through the place you work is a common experience in the world of dreams.
Fantasy
Sleeping or walking on a golden beach into a brilliant kaleidoscope of
colour created by a large red sun slowly sinking into a deep blue sea, a cool breeze gently massages your eyes allowing your mind to wander into the arms of someone you love.
Walking along an endless corridor with doors to various stages of your past, each door links a past memory to your present.
Nightmares
Dreams of a violent nature are referred to as Nightmares.
They may resemble being chased, falling, being devoured into the fires of hell. Silent screaming or
sinking slowly below the waves
You may pass through objects, or sometimes you may be killing someone!!!!
Remember it is only a dream.
When you dream of death remember it is only a dream and will not harm you.
You may have a lucid dream tonight……………..sweet dreams.
